CLAC was founded in 1985 with the idea of bringing International students together for summer language classes to study and experience natural language exchange. It is a unique idea that is still part of CLAC’s ethos and drives what we do today. From the start CLAC has operated like a family, both in terms of management and the atmosphere of the summer classes.
Our course at Great Ballard and Slindon College are a language immersion experience with 100 hours of English each week, ultimate All Inclusive core programme, outstanding welfare and British students for natural language exchange.
The CLAC English learning programme aims to give students maximum bene t during their stay with us by linking what is studied in the classroom with the language that students will need out of class. In this way students immediately get to practise what they have learnt, which builds both con dence and uency. And it certainly builds more friendships!
A CLAC course makes lifelong friends. It was CLAC students themeselves who invented the phrase ‘’CLAC friends are friends forever’’.A CLAC course is designed around speaking English all day – from breakfast until bedtime – that’s around 100 hours absorbing English each week.
