Residential EFL Teacher

Are you a qualified EFL teacher looking for short-term well-paid summer teaching that gives you time for a well-earned break afterwards? Then look no further. CLAC’s 2 week residential course in July gives all the immersive teaching experience and financial benefits of a much longer course.
As a CLAC residential EFL Teacher, you’ll be responsible for your own group of up to 14 students per class, level tested on day 1. You’ll enjoy the rewards of being able to take charge of their English learning programme for 3 hours on 5 mornings each week and contributing to two weekly afternoon workshop classes of your choice.

You will never be asked to organise any after-class activities – a dedicated Social Team will do this. Participation in the Social Programme is encouraged but not compulsory. Priority is given to your teaching.

As this is a residential course for young learners you will however be expected to take your turn on a supervision Duty Rota, supervise the weekly day excursion and help out with airport meet and greet duties. If you’d like to become part of this very special friendly family-run course with over 60% returning students, apply now for a residential EFL Teacher position with us.

About Us: Founded in 1985. CLAC was founded in 1985 with the idea of bringing together overseas and British students for an international residential summer course experience with a focus on natural language exchange and friendship. It is an idea that is still at the heart of CLAC and drives what we do today.
From the start CLAC has operated like a family both in terms of management and the atmosphere of its summer school.

Family: CLAC is owned and run by the George family. The business has grown since 1985, but the management is committed to remaining small enough to keep a family feel and provide personal attention to its students. We put quality above quantity and have a maximum of 70 students per course.
The George family live on-site and is directly involved in the day-to-day running of the course. They make it their priority to ensure that CLAC retains everything that has made it special for so many years. They are there to give you assurance that your needs will be met by the people who make the decisions.
