Getting to Port Regis School
Our summer programmes take place at Port Regis School, a beautiful boarding school set in the Dorset countryside near Shaftesbury, approximately two hours from London.
Travelling to the UK
Most students travel independently from their home country to England. Our team will meet students on arrival, assist them during departure, and provide organised transfers between designated arrival points and the school.
Students typically arrive in London by:
- Air, via Heathrow or Gatwick Airport
- International rail, via London St Pancras International Station
We understand that independent travel can feel daunting for younger students, and our experienced staff are on hand to support them throughout their journey.
Sustainable Travel
As air travel has a significant environmental impact, we encourage families to consider travelling by train whenever possible. Rail travel is often a comfortable and environmentally responsible alternative, particularly for students travelling from mainland Europe.
Travelling with Other Students
Where possible, we will help connect families travelling from the same region so that students can travel together. Many of our students travel independently each year, but our team provides support and guidance throughout the arrival and departure process.
Bringing Your Child to School
Parents are welcome to bring their child directly to Port Regis School. Students should be dropped off during the scheduled arrival period on the first day of their course and collected during the designated departure period at the end of their stay.
Please note that accommodation cannot be provided for students arriving before the official start date or departing after the programme has ended.
Parent Accommodation
A limited number of accommodation options may be available for parents of younger children who wish to stay near the school during their child’s programme. Stays are subject to availability and generally require a minimum booking of one week.
