8:30-9:00
Breakfast
Breakfast is a firm favourite with all CLAC students – a choice of cereals, warm croissants, fresh fruit, toast, spreads and cooked breakfast every other day.
9:15-9:30
Morning Meeting
Students gather daily in the main hall for their Morning Meeting led by the Director and the Social Team Staff. It’s a fun, informative way to start the day, with an overview of the exciting teaching sessions and activities ahead, finishing with everyone’s favourite highlight — an energised sing-along of the CLAC jingle.
9:30-13:00
English or Spanish Classes
Students meet with their Group Teacher and are taught using a combination of a course book and the teacher’s own resources. Each group will have a plan of the grammar to be taught each week displayed in their classroom. Students have several breaks throughout this period to get some water and snacks in order to be refreshed for plenty of language learning!

Lunch
Food is served in the dining room where there are always two choices of hot food – one vegetarian – and a varied salad bar selection with fresh fruit and dessert to end the meal.
13:45 - 15:00
Workshops
This timetabled session is special to CLAC as it combines language learning with sports, creative arts and wellbeing sessions. Students choose between a variety of workshops each morning. The idea behind these classes is that when students are involved through interest they are able to learn and assimilate more and forget that they are actually learning and practising their English. The English+ choices are made during the application process.
15:30-17:30
Afternoon Activities
After the English+ and in the afternoons, students are given a choice of activities they can particapate in which include swimming, indoor or outdoor sports, arts and crafts. These activities are run and organised by the fabulous CLAC Social Team. Also to look out for are our special excursion activities such as Paintballing, Trampolining and Countryside Walks.
18:00
Dinner
Dinner is consistant with lunch, but with some evenings there being special events such as Formal Dinner, BBQ and CLAC Carnival! It is another opportunity to gather together and chat informally with friends and staff.
19:00-22:00
Evening Activities
CLAC wouldn’t be CLAC without its much awaited evening activities – Capture the Flag, the Bottle Game, Karaoke, Casino Night, Live Cluedo, the Mystery Walk – all great favourites.
22:30
Hot Chocolate & Bed Time
Staff on duty will prepare hot drinks and biscuits for the students every night and before bedtime. This is a perfect time for students to relax and chat to their friends.
After a day filled with learning, fun and activities, staff on duty will send students up to their bedrooms for evening routines and to get ready for lights out.
