CLAC was founded in 1985 with the idea of bringing international students together for summer language classes to study and experience natural language exchange. It is an idea that is still part of CLAC's ethos and drives what we do today. From the start CLAC has operated like a family, both in terms of management and the atmosphere of the summer classes.
The business is owned by mother and son team Anne and William George. They manage the CLAC office and personally oversee enquiries and enrolments. During the summer Anne and William are then resident on the courses themselves, providing continuity and giving parents and students added confidence.
CLAC has grown over the last 30 years but the management ethos is to remain small enough to keep a family feel and provide personal attention to students. Anne and Will make it their priority to ensure that CLAC retains everything that has made it special for so many years.
Many students come on personal recommendation from friends or family and up to 50% return for at least another year. As an experienced family company, CLAC can offer unrivalled levels of care, personal attention and flexibility.
