Activity Programme
The programme of social activities at the center provides an opportunity for students to relax, practise their English and have fun. Every afternoon after classes students have the independence to choose what they would like to take part in. Students can decide between different sports, art based activities, and trips to local attractions. The programme is designed to appeal to different personalities and to not only interest, but also include everyone.
Each evening the Social Team arranges group challenges and tournaments, as well as CLAC quiz nights, discos and parties to entertain and involve all of the Slindon students. There is always something happening for all of our students to be take part in. We also understand that some free time is desired and this is included in the programme. Students can use complimentary Wifi during free times and breaks.
Typical Day
CLAC days start with a meeting which everyone attends to find out exactly what is happening throughout that day and also other plans for the week. After their meeting students go to their English classes. Students can meet up with their friends at break time after their first classs and then there are two shorter skills classes before lunch.
In the afternoon students choose from the many activities including arts, sports, games and local trips on offer. These are displayed on the Social Programme and students sign up for their chosen actitivies.
In the evening is when the big events happen, famous CLAC games such as the Scary Walk, Cluedo, parties, campfires and other activities that involve the whole course. Everyone is included.
