Practice is given in all language skills but the greatest importance is given to speaking. This is the focus during lessons and transmits to social time too where British and international children are encouraged to communicate whenever possible. Confidence grows and the students are usually pleasantly surprised by their rapid progress. The small classes ensure a much higher level of personal attention and student participation than is to be found in many schools. The teachers are able to help students with their personal grammar problems, whilst at the same time expanding their knowledge of the language. The fun side of learning and using another language is brought to life through rôle-plays, language games and the many varied activities offered which are conducted wherever possible in the language being learnt.
