Summer Language Courses
for Children and Adults

Visas

CLAC is accredited by The British Council and English UK. As a provider of
short courses of less than six months this accreditation means we can
provide documents to assist in your visa application (if you need one.)

You can check if you need a visa to study in the UK on the UK Border
Agency's Visa Services website

For CLAC courses you need one of the following visas, depending on your age:

Child Visitor Visa (Children aged 8 to 17)

A Child Visitor Visa is suitable for applicants aged 17 or under.
This visa allows you to study any CLAC course for up to 6 months.
The maximum stay in the UK is 6 months and this cannot be extended in the UK.

Student Visitor Visa (Adults aged 18+)

A Student Visitor Visa is suitable for applicants aged 18 or over.
This visa allows you to study any CLAC course for up to 6 months.
The maximum stay in the UK is 6 months and this cannot be extended.

We can supply you with a visa letter showing the course you have booked and
a receipt showing the cost of the course. You will be required to supply
your own supplementary information.

We can only supply visa documents when the fees have been paid in full.

Where possible we will provide advice and assistance with visa applications.
For unsuccessful applications that prevent the attendance on a CLAC course
please see our Terms and Conditions.
