CLAC offers a wide range of excursions, to suit all interests, giving our students the opportunity to experience the best the local area has to offer. The weekly full-day excursion is included in the course fees, with only a minimal fee charged for most others.
Once a week, the students will spend a full day out of school, visiting a nearby town or city. Typical destinations include:
- London
- Brighton
- Portsmouth
- Guildford
- Winchester
The excursions usually include a cultural activity or visit, as well as some free time for supervised shopping and sightseeing. A packed lunch is provided for all students.
CLAC also offers a variety of sporting, cultural and leisure excursions for a minimal extra charge (average £5). Popular examples include:
- Shopping trips to nearby towns
- Cinema
- Theatre
- Paintballing
- Trips to local places of interest (e.g. castles, cathedrals)
- Beach trips (weather permitting)
Places on these are allocated via a sign-up system, operating on a “first come first served” basis. Please note that CLAC cannot guarantee that all excursions will be available in any given week.
