Meet the Staff

Anne George

CLAC was created by Anne’s friend, Elfrida Heath, who asked Anne to work on the very first course. Although Elfrida has retired Anne continues to run CLAC with the same passion and enthusiasm that has made the courses so popular. Anne has a Diploma in English language teaching and nearly 40 years experience working in language schools in the UK and abroad. Having spent over 25 years Directing CLAC courses she has huge experience in all aspects of teaching and welfare and still enjoys welcoming students to the courses each summer.

Will George

Will has been to CLAC every year since he was 6 years old! He was a student every year until he was 18 when he started working on the courses. In between university and building a career Will always had time for CLAC and for the past 4 years it has been his focus. He has a Degree in English Language and Linguistics, a Masters in Business Administration, is qualified to teach English and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Will is the Course Director at Lavant House, Great Ballard and Corpus Christi, as well as managing the office in Cambridge.

Anna Pluke

Anna loves CLAC as much as any student! Anna was a student at CLAC for 6 years and has worked on the Junior Course every year since she was 17. She is a qualified primary school teacher as well has having a Diploma in English language teaching. There is nothing she doesn’t know about CLAC and she is passionate about ensuring students always have the best possible care and a truly memorable experience. Anna is the Recruitment Manager and Director of Studies at Lavant House and Corpus Christi.

Oggi Tomic

Oggi is a familiar face to all students – his wit and good humour make him a popular figure on the courses. He came to CLAC as a student and since graduating from university he has worked at Slindon College and in the office as Enrolment Manager. Oggi’s favourite job is meeting students at the airport on arrival day and transporting them safely to the schools – if you come to CLAC he will be there to meet you!
